■Message from Congress President

I am Professor Kimio Ushijima, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Kurume University, who will be in charge of the 64th Annual Meeting of Japanese Society of Gynecologic Oncology.
The spread of the new coronavirus infection over the past two years has brought about major changes in our social life. Academic conferences are no exception, and online or hybrid system has become the norm. Fortunately, the vaccination program is steadily progressing thanks to the efforts of the government and many medical personnel, and I sincerely hope that the 64th JSGO will be held locally next year.
The conference will be held from Thursday, July 14th to Saturday, July 16th, 2022, and the venue is Kurume City Plaza (Kurume City, Fukuoka, Japan). We have decided the subtitle of the conference as "Back to the Basics and Forward into the Future”. Let’s learn from history and draw the future of gynecologic oncology! Beyond our predecessors!
We will revisit the gynecological oncology that our predecessors have struggled to build and discuss new research, diagnosis, treatment strategies, and education that make full use of modern technology, and discuss the future.
We will have many special lectures by famous professors from whole world. In addition, we will accept general presentations from overseas. As well as invited performers from overseas, a joint program is planned by young doctors from Asian countries to deepen exchanges with Asia. All our department members are preparing to make the meeting interesting and fruitful for all the participants such as symposiums, workshops, instructor seminars, and ethics seminars. We look forward to welcoming you to Kurume.

■Abstract Submission

The 64th Annual Meeting of Japan Society of Gynecologic Oncology welcomes the submission from overseas.

Submission period: December 9 (Thu), 2021 to January 25 (Tue), 2022

Abstract Submission Guidelines

• All abstracts must be submitted in English.
• The abstracts body must be maximum 250 words.
• The title should be precise. It should be capitalized each initial letter of the major words in the sentence except definite/indefinite articles, short prepositions/conjunctions, or acronyms.
• Abstracts should be structured in at least three sections, clearly mentioned such as: Background ⁄ Objectives - Methods - Results (optional) - Conclusions.
• First Authors are required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract and agree to the submission.
• First Authors are requested to register for the meeting.
